A GROUP ACTIVITY
There was a young man called Hans
Whose girlfriend refused to dance
To make up for the loss
He asked out her boss
And they ended up going to France.
There once was a waitress called Pearl
Known as a fun good time girl
Would Lord Henry choose Hilda
Or prefer her friend Matilda
Go on then. I’ll give her a whirl!
My younger sister who was called Fran
Always asked if I approved of her young man.
I said ‘not a bit,
He’s a bit of a twit
So she hit me with a large frying pan.
There was a young man from Poole
Whose girlfriend stood on a stool
Because she was so small
And he was so tall
No wonder everyone called him a fool.
There was a young man called Wayne
Who always travelled to Hull by train
One day he sat next to Jill
Who told him she was on the pill
But she ended up being a bore and a pain.
There was a young lady called Mandy
Who was considered a bit of eye candy
The boys used to run
Because although she was fun
They considered her much too randy.
There was a young man called Stan
Who was a bit of a handyman
He nailed up a box
Just for his fox
But before he could catch it, it ran.
A beautiful girl called Marina
Was muddy and hoped no one had seen her
She hid in a car
That had travelled from far
It was a red white and blue Cortina.
There was a young woman called Fran
Who was searching for her forever man
Nowhere to be found
She felt duty bound
To accept a fellow called Stan.
