This group is new for Winter 2025.
Members include couples and individuals. We aim to have a fun time when we get together with lots of news to share.
Some members are not drivers so car share will be offered wherever possible.
The group wants to ensure that no one is alone and unable to have a good meal.
Throughout 2025 we have enjoyed Sunday lunch at a number of different places in the local area with our Weekenders Sunday Lunch Group 1 and now have an established list of venues.
Where possible we have tried to visit places that offer a range of food from the usual Sunday carvery to daily specials.
Usually we aim to eat around 12.30pm or 1.00pm, though this is dependent on availability at the chosen venue.

We hope the Weekenders Sunday Lunch Group 2 will be as successful as Weekenders Sunday Lunch Group 1.
