This group is new for June 2025.
The new Ravenshead u3a Strollers group held their first stroll on Friday 11th July around the beautiful woodland of Burnt Stump Country Park.
This first stroll was competently led by Joan Geddes with Pauline Hannaford acting as Back Marker (we don’t want to lose anyone!).
The canopy of trees provided welcome shade on a hot morning but we still welcomed the cool drink in the Burnt Stump Inn afterwards!
(The Group obviously meant to start as they will go on – i.e. a healthy stroll following by a social drink!). The monthly strolls will be organised by the group members meaning that the day and date of the meetings will vary.
Future strolls are being planned by the new Group Leader, Sue Fensome, and her Deputy, Sheila Pegg, who will be contacting group members as soon as details are finalised. If anyone wants to join this new group please contact Sue or Sheila.
