Our Trips Co-ordinator, Halinka Rajchel, has organised a mini coach trip for the Friday (19th July) of the event.  The Community Transport minicoach will leave the Sherwood Ranger in Ravenshead earlier than usual at 8am and return from York at 5pm, and the journey is likely to take around 90 minutes each way.

A day ticket cost £8 for entry to the Festival on the day can be purchased at :

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/u3a-festival-24-tickets-851586085907

Ticket bookings for the event close on 3rd June and priority on the RCT bus will be given to those attending.

After the 3rd June, once the numbers of those attending the Festival are known, members purely wishing to visit York itself will then be confirmed, in the meantime Halinka is holding them as a waiting list.

14 coach places are initially available to book directly with Halinka by calling 07762 802112, or by emailing her at trips@ravensheadu3a.org.uk  The transport element will cost £18 per person, which excludes the cost of the £8 entry ticket for the Friday (9am to 6pm). Places will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis, with payment in full required at our AGM on 14th May.
