The annual u3a day celebration was held on Friday 27th September at the Ravenshead Village Hall.

Starting at 11 am and concluding at 2.00 pm we attraced visitors and members alike to celebrate the u3a movement and Ravenshead u3a itself!

Interest groups were able to display and promote their own groups inside the village hall with boards of photos and information and the Mollky group encouraged members and guests to 'have a go' in spite of the rather windy weather!

The publicity that we achieved through posters in shops and outside homes along with strategic ones on lamposts around the area, advertised the event well achivieving a large number of visitors and members. The free coffee and biscuits helped to keep people warm and nourished to keep them going!

We certainly attracted new members, many of which signed up on the day, with many more taking home the forms to fill in later.
