More about this Speaker: Nina Dauban
Nina Dauban is the Chief Executive of Forever Notts – the Community Foundation for Nottinghamshire, a local registered charity that supports hundreds of voluntary and community groups across the city and county through grant funding.
She founded her first charity at just 21 and has now spent over 40 years working in the voluntary sector. Her leadership roles include former Chair of the Nottingham Association of Voluntary Organisations (NAVO) and current Chairwoman of Hetty’s, alongside her work as CEO of Forever Notts.
Nina’s deep knowledge of the charity world is widely respected by the many groups she and her team support through local giving advice and grant administration. Forever Notts helps more than 300 local charities every year, funding projects ranging from homelessness support and activities for older people to children’s wellbeing programmes and many other vital community causes — including u3as.
Her talk for u3a audiences across Nottinghamshire has been described as highly informative, with one group (Rainworth & District u3a) calling it “the best talk they have ever had.” The title emerged from audience reactions: “Well, I didn’t know that!”
