2 hour return trip on the canal from Hollingwood Hub, Chesterfield on the canal boat “Madeline”.

Madeline was purpose built by Eckington School and launched in 2014. The Chesterfield Canal Trust bought it from the school in 2020. A big cruiser-style stern makes getting on and off the boat easy.
Access to the passenger cabin is down a short flight of steep steps. There is a large front deck.

(There are only 10 places on the trip due to limited capacity on the boat, but there are four trips to choose from. Others on 4th July, 17th July and 5th August)

On the way back we will call in to Young Vanish Pub, Glapwell, where you can eat from either the carvery or main menu.
You may take a picnic lunch to eat on the boat, if you prefer, and just have refreshments at the Young Vanish
