A visit to the Old Lock up art Gallery in Cromford (used as a village jail in 1700s) then a visit to St Giles Church in Matlock ( famous for film appearances in Women in Love 1960s and Dead Man’s Shoes).

Afterwards for those who wish  a meal at Duke William pub (year of pub 1700s) and famous people who stayed there Alan Bates and Oliver Reed.
